Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) reached $83,000 Tuesday, up roughly 1.5%, as reports of a possible U.S.-Iran agreement boosted risk appetite across crypto markets. ### Why Crypto Rallied on Iran Deal Reports Market commentator Bull Theory, who is widely followed, posted on X that the U.S. and Iran had reportedly agreed to end the war, citing Al-Araby Al-Jadeed. Qatar and Pakistan reportedly mediated the agreement, which would include confidential IAEA inspections and the partial release of Iran’s frozen funds.

The New Arab reported that Qatar and Pakistan had put forward a “middle-ground proposal” intended to meet both sides’ demands. Pakistan’s army chief reportedly delivered it to Iranian officials today. The proposal would make roughly $6 billion in Iranian funds frozen in Qatari banks available as a partial response to Iran’s demand to recover those assets. Iran reportedly agreed to a secret IAEA visit to its nuclear sites in response to U.S.

demands. Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) rose about 2.5%, while XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) gained roughly 3% on the news. Bitcoin moved above its 20-day EMA. Ethereum and XRP, meanwhile, still face resistance near $2500 and $1.37 to $1.38, respectively.

SoSoValue data showed BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (NASDAQ: IBIT) recorded $665.16 million in net inflows Monday, its biggest one-day intake since October 7, 2025. The fund’s flow helped lift net inflows across US spot Bitcoin ETFs to $526.6 million for the day, despite outflows from Fidelity and Grayscale products partly offsetting the total. Spot Ether ETFs, by contrast, saw $103.3 million in net outflows Monday, extending their losing streak to four consecutive days. Bitcoin remained in a narrow $82000 to $83000 range as concerns persisted that additional rate hikes could pressure risk assets broadly.
