Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed down 1.3 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 1.33 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed up 0.51 percent, the KOSPI closed down 3.73 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 0.12 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi up 1.35 percent, Alibaba down 3.4 percent, SoftBank Group down 6.01 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ down 3.65 percent and Tencent down 1.63 percent.
