UK Unemployment Rate Falls to 4.7%, Below 4.9% Forecast
The ONS reported an employment rate of 4.7% in June to August, down 0.1 percentage points year over year and quarter over quarter. Vacancies fell an estimated 2.9% quarter over quarter in the three months to September.
