Goldman Sachs Upgrades CoreWeave to Buy, Cuts Price Target to $106
Gabriela Borges lowered the target from $139 as CoreWeave shares fell 24% over five trading sessions and 43% since August 11. Borges cited concerns about financing costs and AI demand, while arguing investors overestimate future capital costs and underestimate potential investment-return improvements.
Goldman Sachs analyst Gabriela Borges raised CoreWeave to Buy from Neutral and lowered the price target to $106 from $139. CoreWeave shares have fallen 43% since August 11 and 24% over the past five trading sessions, amid concerns about credit-market volatility, financing costs and AI demand. Borges says investors are overstating the company’s future cost of capital and understating potential gains in investment returns. She sees an attractive buying opportunity following the selloff.
