Sensex Falls 876.37 Points, Nifty Drops 257.20 in Volatile Trade
The Sensex declined 876.37 points to 73,852.90 and the Nifty 50 fell 257.20 points to 22,888.95. The Sensex dropped more than 1,000 points intraday before recovering some losses.
Indian benchmarks swung sharply on Monday. The Sensex dropped more than 1000 points during the session before recouping some of its losses. The Nifty 50 ended 257.20 points lower, down 1.11 per cent, at 22888.95. The BSE Sensex settled at 73852.90, a decline of 876.37 points or 1.17 per cent.
