Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed down 0.62 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed up 0.39 percent, the KOSPI closed up 1.76 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 0.44 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi down 1.55 percent, Alibaba up 2.26 percent, SoftBank Group down 2 percent, Meituan up 0.33 percent and AIA Group up 1.17 percent.
