CoreWeave (NASDAQ: CRWV) extended its sharp decline this week, reaching its lowest level since May 15 as concerns about an AI bubble persisted. The stock is more than 67% below its record high, erasing billions of dollars in market value. It has also formed a head-and-shoulders pattern, which points to further downside risk. CoreWeave’s bond yields are rising as insiders sell shares.

The stock’s decline continued after Gartner (NYSE: IT) warned that leading neocloud companies could face substantial impairments by 2030. The warning echoed Michael Burry’s repeated concerns that GPU values may depreciate faster than expected. CoreWeave has also fallen as senior insiders continue to sell shares. Data shows that insiders, including the founders, have sold more than $3.3 billion worth of shares since the company’s initial public offering.

They sold more than 54.7 million shares in the last 12 months. The passage describes this as significant because insiders are thought to have more privileged information than ordinary investors. The selloff in CoreWeave shares reflects investor concerns that the AI bubble could burst. Some leading investors and analysts have cautioned that this may happen soon amid rising interest rates. Those concerns have also heightened unease over the company’s growing capital expenditure. Management expects capex to exceed 39 billion this year, with debt financing a large share of the spending.

Investors are seeking higher returns to hold CoreWeave debt. Bonds due in 2032 yield about 15%, sharply above their level at the start of the year. The stock chart suggests the shares could face further declines. CoreWeave has completed a head-and-shoulders pattern, which can signal a continuation, and is now at the neckline.

Shares have fallen below the 50-day and 100-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) and the Supertrend indicator. The technical indicators suggest the stock could keep declining, with $50 as a possible psychological level. A fall below $50 would indicate further downside, potentially to the all-time low of $33.7. A Tesla Roadster flying car has debuted with thruster flips and a 2028 target.
