RBI Approves Emirates NBD’s Indian Branch Merger With RBL Bank
The Reserve Bank of India approved the amalgamation of Emirates NBD Bank’s Indian branches with RBL Bank, effective December 1, 2026.
New Delhi, Oct. 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cleared the merger of Emirates NBD Bank P.J.S.C.'s Indian branches into RBL Bank Ltd. The amalgamation will take effect from 1 December 2026, when all Emirates NBD branches in India will operate as RBL Bank branches.
