CIMB Economists See Malaysia Growth Above 5% in 2026

CIMB economists Chew Khai Yen and Michelle Chia expect growth to slightly exceed 5.0%, citing resilient exports and stronger manufacturing. Malaysia grew 5.3% year over year in the third quarter, bringing nine-month growth to 5.5%.
