South Korea economic chiefs discuss cooperation with US counterparts, says Seoul

SEOUL, Oct 16 (Reuters) — South Korea's finance minister and central bank governor held a joint meeting with US counterparts on Friday to discuss economic conditions as well as economic and financial cooperation between the two countries, Seoul's finance ministry said. The meeting between South Korean Minister Lee Hyoung-il, Bank of Korea Governor Shin Hyun Song, US Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh and US Deputy Treasury Secretary Francis Brooke was held on the sidelines of the annual IMF-World Bank gathering in Bangkok.
