Oct 16 (The Insurer) — The Insurer rounds up some of the notable people moves across the sector over the past week. LONDON MARKET/UK AND EUROPE Lockton appointed Gill Martin as head of marine hull broking. Martin joins from Howden, where she served as divisional director for marine. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at SSL, Marsh and Aon. Munich Re Specialty hired Hudson Folick as an underwriter in its international casualty team with effect from November. Folick joins from Axis, where he was an assistant underwriter for international casualty, and previously worked as an underwriting assistant at Beazley. Gallagher appointed Jörg Seidel as client director at Krose, its German business serving large corporate clients. Seidel joins from Zurich, where he was chief operating officer of its European extended warranty carrier. He will report to Krose managing director Leopold Muhle. Markel Insurance appointed Josephine Stroud as head of energy liability and hired Jenny McFarlane as senior underwriter in its London-based marine and energy liability team. Stroud joins from Axa XL, while McFarlane joins from Tokio Marine HCC International. Both will report to Grant Smith. WTW hi
