Bitcoin recovered to $82,000 as the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield retreated to 5.09%, after climbing to 5.36% following yesterday's hotter-than-expected CPI report. Cryptocurrency prices were: Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), $82,061; Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), $2,435; Solana (CRYPTO: SOL), $105.95; XRP (CRYPTO: XRP), $1.34; Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE), $0.08091; and Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB), $0.0 5 5111. Coinglass data showed 173,758 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours, totaling $929.17 million.

SoSoValue data showed net outflows of $261.5 million from spot Bitcoin ETFs on Wednesday, while spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows of $129.5 million. Akedo, Starknet and Pyth Network were among the top gainers over the past 24 hours. Related developments included reports that Bitcoin moved above $82,000 as XRP and Solana flashed buy signals; Hyperliquid was looking beyond Bitcoin to Nvidia and oil, with a question about whether PURR could benefit; and a crypto expert said $77,000 would confirm a Bitcoin bull market.

Other coverage noted XRP's 5% drop to $1.30, Bitcoin trading between $80,000 and $88,000, a Dogecoin buy signal near $0.08 support, and Ripple's expansion of institutional trading through real-world asset swaps across 100 markets. Crypto analyst Lennaert Snyder said Bitcoin swept liquidity below $80,000 after the New York open, then recovered strongly, confirming his earlier bullish setup. He sees $83,000 as near-term resistance; a break above that level could send Bitcoin toward $85,000, where substantial buy-side liquidity and liquidations remain.

Snyder said a sharp rejection at $83,000 could create a shorting opportunity, but he prefers initiating new short positions at $85,000 after the sweep below $80,000. Digital asset platform Bitfinez said Bitcoin whales have accumulated roughly 60,000 BTC since late August, mainly between $80,000 and $86,000. It said the low-$80,000 range could become strong support if whales continue holding their accumulated Bitcoin through the current market pullback.
