Peru's economy grows 3.23% year – on – year in August
Peru’s economy grew 3.23% in August compared with a year earlier, according to data released Thursday by the country’s INEI statistics agency. The result was below expectations. Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast growth of 3.4%. August’s pace also eased from 3.56% in the previous month.
