IGC raises 2026/27 world corn crop forecast

LONDON, Oct 15 (Reuters) — The International Grains Council has raised its forecast for 2026/27 global corn production by 6 million metric tons to 1.307 billion tons, it said on Thursday. In its monthly update, the intergovernmental body also kept its 2026/27 world wheat crop outlook at 820 million tons.
