Palm Oil Falls as Rival Oils and Crude Weigh
Palm oil fell during Asian trading, pressured by weaker soybean and vegetable oil prices and softer crude oil, trader David Ng says. Stronger October export demand provided support.
Palm oil prices declined in Asian trading as soybean and other vegetable oil prices weakened, according to David Ng, a trader at Kuala Lumpur-based Iceberg X. Softer crude oil also damped sentiment, even as export demand strengthened for October, Ng said. Ng sees price support near 4,600.
