India Customs Probe Diverts Niger Soybeans to Asian Markets

Around 11,000 metric tons of Niger-origin soybeans bound for India were diverted to other Asian markets and sold at steep discounts, four trade sources said. The sources said a widening probe into suspected import tax evasion deterred Indian buyers.
