WHO: Ebola Outbreak Outpacing Response
The Ebola outbreak is continuing to outpace the response, according to WHO director Tedros.

WHO declared the outbreak a PHEIC in May, and recent reports showed DRC confirmed cases topping 1,000 with 254 deaths, so an imported French case would be a notable escalation versus prior EU/ECDC expectations that importation risk was very low.
