Nasdaq Falls 1.65% as Oil Rises and Gold, Silver Slide

The Nasdaq Composite dropped 449 points to 26,755.24, extending its weekly loss to 2.23%. The S&P 500 fell 1.10% on the day and 1.18% for the week; the Russell 2000 lost 1.70%.
