September Core CPI Pressure Broadens; Services Ex-Housing at 4.6% Annualized

Core goods rose 0.25% and shelter 0.39%; core services excluding housing rose 0.42%. The three-month annualized rate for services ex-housing increased to 4.6% in September from 1% in July.
