Morgan Stanley reported Q3 earnings of $3.03 per share, ahead of the $2.91 expected. Revenue rose 12% to $20.34 billion, above the $19.95 billion consensus, and net profit climbed 6.5% to $4.91 billion. Equities trading revenue surged 41% to $5.8 billion, roughly $900 million above forecasts.
