PSKY EU regulators are reportedly set to approve Paramount's PSKY $111B takeover of Warner Bros Discovery, as long as the company accepts certain remedies, per FT.
The deal would combine HBO, CNN, CBS News, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros under one media group.
One possible remedy being discussed: Paramount exiting its joint venture with Universal Pictures, which distributes films in several international markets.
The deal already received U.S.
DOJ approval this month, with the European Commission facing a July 7 deadline to approve it or open a deeper probe.
