NEW DELHI, Oct 14 (Reuters) — Asia's naphtha prices rebounded on Wednesday in tandem with crude oil benchmarks amid escalating geopolitical tensions in the Gulf, analysts said. The price for second-half November naphtha rose by about $14 to $1,024 per metric ton in a steep backwardation of $31 a ton. The crack for naphtha rose to about $232 a ton. In tenders, Kuwait Petroleum Corp sold 85,000 tons of full-range naphtha at a premium of more than $120 per ton over Japan quotes to second-half December prices on a delivery ex-ship basis for loading between November 1 and 11, market participants said.
