Fluence Wins Vattenfall Contract for German 1 GWh Battery Project
The Brunsbüttel facility is planned to provide 254 MW of power and more than 1,000 MWh of storage. The turnkey contract covers engineering, construction, commissioning and long-term service; construction is expected in 2027, with operations targeted for late 2028. The project will nearly double Vattenfall’s battery storage capacity.
