Bank of Thailand Deputy Governor for Monetary Stability Piti Disyatat said in an interview that the central bank will need to reassess the timing of rate normalization in a couple of weeks. At the BOT’s most recent meeting in August, it was clear the central bank was “not near that spot yet,” he said.
