Zurich Insurance names Axa's Yin China CEO

By Ashish Tiwari Oct 14 (The Insurer) — Zurich Insurance has appointed Scott Yin as CEO of Zurich China, subject to regulatory approval, the company said on Wednesday. Based in Shanghai, Yin will report to Eric Hui, Zurich's CEO for Greater China. He will lead the insurer's next stage of growth in China, with a focus on strengthening its commercial insurance business and broadening its offerings, Zurich said. Yin joins from Axa Tianping, where he was most recently chief actuary and chief pricing officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Chinese and Australian insurance markets.
