Nvidia pledges $250 million to boost UK AI safety research

Oct 14 (Reuters) — US-chipmaker Nvidia said on Wednesday it would donate computing resources valued at $250 million over five years to support agentic AI safety and security research in the United Kingdom. The commitment provides $50 million in compute access annually, with a portion going to Oxford-led lab BOLD, UCL-led SOFAIR and Imperial College London.
