TECHNICALS — Spot gold may rise into $4,185 — $4,191 range

For more technical analyses, click TECH/C SINGAPORE, Oct 14 (Reuters) — Spot gold may rise into a range of $4,185-$4,191 per ounce, as it has stabilized around a support at $4,143. A wave c from $4,201 is supposed to travel to its 100% projection level of $4,134. However, the metal's stabilization around the 86.4% level indicates a completion of this wave. A falling trendline points at a target of $4,185. A break below $4,150 may trigger a fall to $4,134. On the daily chart, the market remains neutral within a narrow range of $4,122-$4,233. A break above $4,233 will not only open the way towards the $4,322-$4,411 range but also suggest an extension of the uptrend from $3,943. A break below $4,122 could trigger a drop into the $3,943-$4,046 range. The bias might be toward the upside, as indicated by the signals on the hourly chart.
