China Inflation Data Reflect Subdued Demand and Supply Pressures

China's CPI inflation rose slightly less than expected, economist Zhiwei Zhang said, citing weak service-related inflation, which fell 0.2%. He said subdued domestic demand persisted; producer prices rose 5%, more than expected.
