Preliminary Phase 1 results for oral GLP-1 receptor agonist BMF-650 showed mean Day-29 weight loss of 1.5%–3.2% in outpatient cohorts versus 0.1% for placebo, and 6.1% in a confined cohort after rapid titration. Reported gastrointestinal events were mild or moderate.
