Rubio, Bukele discuss security of El Salvador's ports, other critical infrastructure

Oct 13 (Reuters) — US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed keeping El Salvador's critical infrastructure, including ports, secure and free from "malign foreign influence" in a call on Tuesday with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, the US State Department said. Rubio also urged El Salvador to join the US and its allies in advancing "shared priorities" at the United Nations, the State Department added.
