Howden unites SPF and Channel Islands Insurance Brokers in new Guernsey office

By Navneeta Nandan Oct 13 (The Insurer) — Howden has brought together SPF Private Clients and Howden Channel Islands Insurance Brokers in its newly opened Guernsey office, the broker said on Tuesday. The broker said combining the two teams would give clients easier access to Howden's portfolio of services across the Channel Islands, including mortgages, commercial debt, life insurance and inheritance tax planning, private and commercial insurance, corporate risks for the financial services sector, and specialist captive solutions. SPF was located in Berthelot Street for the past 30 years, while Howden Channel Islands was situated in Lefebvre Street. They have relocated to a new office at Harbour House, South Esplanade, in St Peter Port. Howden’s Channel Islands businesses advise individuals, families, businesses, fiduciaries and professional services firms across Guernsey and Jersey. SPF joined Howden in 2022, expanding the broker's capabilities in the Channel Islands with the establishment of Howden Channel Islands Insurance Brokers Limited and Guernsey-based captive insurance specialist Howden Captive Services.
