ANV launches PacificPoint earthquake MGA through LaunchPad incubator
By Michael Loney Oct 12 (The Insurer) — Insurance intermediary platform ANV Group Holdings has launched ANV PacificPoint through its MGA incubator ANV LaunchPad. ANV PacificPoint offers difference-in-conditions and earthquake insurance for commercial property risks across the US. The platform offers up to $30 million in capacity for risks ranging from individual properties to complex, multi-location portfolios. The business is led by president Todd Ruyak and executive vice president Eric Mihailovich, who have more than 50 years dedicated to earthquake and DIC underwriting between them. Both were most recently executive vice presidents at Catalytic Risk Managers, a Dual company. They also worked together at Tokio Marine HCC and Arrowhead General Insurance Agency. "ANV PacificPoint reflects our commitment to building businesses around underwriting leaders with proven expertise in complex markets," said Adam Karkowsky, chairman and CEO of ANV. ANV PacificPoint is the third business launched through the ANV LaunchPad MGA incubator program. The first was Hastings Tax Underwriters in May. The second business has not been announced. The current iteration of ANV was established in December
