E-mini Dow futures hit 2.5-week high on sector rotation.
E-mini Dow futures held onto gains for a third consecutive session, pushing above the 52,070 level and reaching a two-and-a-half-week high. The index demonstrated relative strength against broader markets, driven primarily by sector rotation into defensive equities and the energy sector. This rotation was supported by rising WTI Crude Oil futures, which touched their highest levels in a couple of weeks amid ongoing geopolitical developments. While the Dow maintained its upward trajectory, other major indices faced mild selling pressure. E-mini S&P 500 futures finished the session near unchanged, while the Nasdaq-100 and Russell 2000 indices fell approximately 40 bps. Despite the slight declines, both the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 remain situated just below their respective all-time highs.
