BRIEF — PJM Extends Capacity Advisory to Oct. 14

Oct 12 (Reuters) — PJM: Says It Has Extended A Capacity Advisory For Monday And Tuesday To Include Wednesday, Oct. 14 Issues A Maintenance Outage Recall Ahead Of Expected Tight System Conditions Caused By Relatively Warm Fall Weather And Equipment Outages Required For Maintenance And Construction Has Recalled Or Canceled Transmission And Generation Outages To The Extent Possible. This Includes An Oct. 11 Recall Of All Active Generation Maintenance Outage Tickets In The Region Pjm Serves Until Noon On Oct. 14 Says Generation Outages Are Expected To Be Approximately 60,000 Mw Monday, In Addition To Key Transmission Outages Both For Maintenance And To Allow For Major Transmission Construction Projects (Reuters.Briefs@thomsonreuters.com;)
