China to cut VAT export rebate rate for NEV to 9%

China will lower the value-added tax export rebate for new energy vehicles to 9% from 13% from April 1, 2027, the finance ministry said on Monday.Separately, the VAT tax rebate on e-cigarette devices and related products would be removed from the same date, according to the ministry.
