China Cuts 2026/27 Soybean Output Forecast by 590,000 Tons

China’s Agriculture Ministry lowered its 2026/27 soybean output forecast by 590,000 metric tons from last month to 20.36 million tons in its October outlook, citing planted area and yields that missed expectations. New-crop soybean prices opened higher than a year earlier.
