UK Think Tank Says Healey Needs £36 Billion in Budget Measures

The Institute for Fiscal Studies said finance minister John Healey will need £36 billion in tax hikes or welfare cuts in his first budget to offset inflation’s effect on public services and meet a defence spending pledge.
