Avenue Supermarts Q2 revenue rises 18%, profit up 8%
Avenue Supermarts reported Q2 revenue of Rs 19,206 crore, up 18% year on year, with profit up 8% to Rs 804 crore for the quarter ended 30 September.
6 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 804 crore for the quarter ended 30 September. Strong performance from older DMart stores supported the quarterly growth, even as wage inflation increased operating costs during the period.
