Poonawalla Fincorp Q2 net profit rises more than five-fold

Poonawalla Fincorp's second-quarter net profit rose more than five-fold to 375 crore from a year earlier, as rapid growth in the loan book lifted interest and fee income and helped operating profit more than double. The non-bank lender's profit after tax for the quarter was 375 crore.
