American Express shares rise as Delta co-brand spending grows

Amex shares ended higher Friday after Delta reported third-quarter growth in new cards and spending on Amex and Delta co-brand cards. Delta also projected over $9 billion this year from Amex co-branded cards, up from $8.2 billion last year.
