Fitch: Sub-Saharan sovereigns seen improving fiscal and rating profile

Fitch Ratings says Sub-Saharan African sovereigns are supported by economic reforms and favorable external financing access, lifting fiscal performance and improving the region’s rating profile. It expects the median sovereign to record a primary fiscal surplus this year and notes Positive Outlooks are at a decade high.
