Vertex reports interim ALYFTREK data in ages 2-5

Vertex Pharmaceuticals said interim open-label data suggest ALYFTREK may restore exocrine pancreatic function in some 2-5 year-old children with cystic fibrosis, potentially enabling discontinuation of PERT; the use in this age group remains investigational.
