Microchip Technology acquires VORAGO to expand space and defense chips
Microchip Technology announced it acquired VORAGO Technologies, a maker of radiation-hardened and radiation-tolerant chips for aerospace, defense and space applications.
Microchip Technology (MCHP) said Friday it acquired VORAGO Technologies, a semiconductor company focused on radiation-hardened and radiation-tolerant chips, broadening its capabilities in aerospace, defense and space applications. The company did not disclose the terms of the transaction.
