Nobel Peace Prize awarded to jurist Navi Pillay

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the 2026 Peace Prize to South African human-rights lawyer and judge Navi Pillay. The committee cited her decadeslong work on war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide prosecutions.
