Volkswagen fined by BaFin over timely ad hoc forecast disclosure

BaFin fined Volkswagen for failing to disclose potentially market-moving forecast information in a timely ad hoc announcement. The fine was imposed Oct. 1, and Volkswagen said it accepts the penalty under a settlement agreement.
