Braemar Hotels & Resorts files 8-K on settlement deal

Braemar Hotels & Resorts said it entered a cooperation and settlement agreement with Al Shams Investments and others, under which the investor withdrew board nomination notices and agreed to standstill and voting commitments. Braemar said it expects its total contribution to be $4 million to $6 million after insurance proceeds and Ashford contributions, versus a $25 million payment under the agreement.
