Treasury disclosed plans to increase the size of its liquidity-support buyback operations for longer-dated nominal coupon securities. Last month, the Treasury increased the size of a planned buyback operation for securities maturing in 10 to 20 years to $6 billion, triple the typical amount, though the move wasn't enough to push yields lower.
