El Nino forecast may ease Europe’s natural gas demand

Capital Economics says a stronger El Nino could bring warmer-than-average temperatures and stronger winds that reduce Europe’s gas consumption and power-sector gas use. The firm forecasts the Dutch TTF to end the year at 80 euros/MWh.
