PepsiCo trims outlook as North American unit underperforms

PepsiCo said its North American unit underperformed and trimmed its outlook. The company reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $3.05 billion, or $2.23 a share, versus $2.6 billion, or $1.90 a share, a year earlier.
