General Fusion says LM26 reaches 1 keV milestone

General Fusion said its LM26 demonstration machine reached more than 1 keV, or above 12 million degrees Celsius, using its low-speed compression approach. The company said the result is the first time a fusion machine has reached that level with practical low-speed compression.
